Conor McGregor To Nate Diaz: “I Will See You Again”

mcgregor vs diaz at ufc 196

Looks like Conor McGregor is already looking forward to a rematch.

After losing to Nate Diaz at UFC 196 over the weekend, CM is not feeling too down. Sure, as he said, “sh*t happens,” but he’ll definitely be back to avenge himself.

He went on Instagram recently (and made sure he sends the message to the right person), “Nate I will see you again.”

Check out his full statement below:

“I stormed in and put it all on the line. I took a shot and missed. I will never apologize for taking a shot. Sh*t happens.”

“I’ll take this loss like a man. I will not shy away from it. I will not change who I am. If another champion goes up 2 weights let me know. If your tired of me talking money, take a nap.  I’ll still be here when you wake up with the highest PPV and the gate. Still talking multi 7’s.”

“Thank you to the true support and f*ck the hate that came out of the woodwork. I love it all. Its still steak for breakfast. I’ve been here many times in my life in some form or another. I’ll eat it all and come back stronger.”

“Aldo you are a p*ssy. Dos anjos you are a p*ssy. When the history books are written, I showed up. You showed up on Twitter. To the fans! Never ever shy away from challenges. Never run from adversity. Face yourself head on.  Nate I will see you again.”

Nate Diaz Wants To Fight Conor McGregor Tonight, Next Week Whenever

Nate Diaz Wants To Fight Conor McGregor Tonight, Next Week Whenever

nate diaz post-fight interview

Not to be too eager, but Nate Diaz is requesting Conor McGregor to fight with him in the cage as soon as possible.

In his expletive-filled post-fight interview with Joe Rogan in the ring after beating Michael Johnson, as well as at the post-fight press con, Diaz ranted and talked about Conor McGregor. According to him, he’s the next best opponent for the Irishman.

“If we’re going to see a fight that people want to see, it’s going to be that fight with Conor McGregor,” Diaz said. “We can do that (expletive) tonight. Whenever, next week.”

Diaz insists he’s unlike any other fighter, and that he’s not into joke time type of fights that people will forget.

“Now this guy Conor McGregor’s coming back and he’s doing all this big stuff, and everybody’s calling him out, left and right,” he said. “I’m not like these guys begging for no fight. We’re talking about big fights. He wants a big fight — we can fight, and that’s a big fight. And that’s the kind of (expletive) I’m talking about; real fights, not funny fake fights.”

The 30-year-old fighter, currently at 170 pounds after fighting at 155 a few times, shares that he doesn’t plan on cutting down to lightweight. Then again, things can change.

“I don’t think I’m going to be losing weight for any of these guys down here,” Diaz proclaimed. “There aren’t too [many] big names at 155, I fought them all. If there’s something worth it in the future, we’re going to have to see. But yeah, definitely big fights is what I’m after.”
