Peyton Manning Admits He Hasn’t Slept Since Super Bowl Win

peyton manning interview on Good Morning America

Peyton Manning is still riding high on adrenaline.

The Denver Broncos quarterback went on a live interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Monday, hours following his team’s fantastic win against the Carolina Panthers at 24-10 in the Super Bowl 50 (something Donald Trump had predicted last week).

When asked by the interviewer if he had gotten any sleep yet, the oldest QB to ever win a Super Bowl responded, “No, ma’am,” adding that he wasn’t tired.

“There’s definitely a lot of adrenaline after winning a game like that. It’s been a unique season. To cap it off with that special victory here tonight against a really good football team, it’s easy to stay up and not be tired.”

Manning wouldn’t reveal his long-term plans, specifically whether or not he was going to retire any time soon.

“I got some good advice from my old coach Tony Dungy. He told me just to take some time after this game and not make an emotional decision,” Manning said adding that he would pray about the decision and talk with his wife, Ashley.

“I’m very much at peace right now and I think, however it works out, it’ll work out the way it’s supposed to,” Manning said. “I’m very grateful for this opportunity and to be playing with a group of special guys.”
